1. What is the weather like in your country? also tell me about the seasons

 

-> We have four seasons. I like fall the most because the fall colors are so beautiful. I like to go for a drive to see the fall colors. Seventy percent of Korea is mountains. I love to go hiking in the fall. I enjoy the breathtaking views from the top of the mountain. Also, I hate summer in Korea. It's incredibly boiling, especially in July and August. I always think I want to leave Korea in the summer. It makes me lose all my energy. I can't do anything without an air conditioner. That's why I prefer colder weather.

 

2. How is the weather today where you are? what is happening now?

 

-> It's a little hot because the hot summer is coming(has arrived), but It's very sunny. There isn't much variation. There isn't a cloud in the sky. But the rainy season is coming soon. It's going to be more humid. It makes people feel very annoyed, but it's ok for me. It's preferable to extremely dry air. 

 

3. How has the weather changed in your country overtime? Was the weather different when you were child?

-> Unfortunately, the weather is getting quite extreme. Korean summers are scorching. When it is too hot, you start sweating right away. Getting into a car is like getting into an oven on a very hot day. My back gets sweaty. Korean winters are extremely cold as well. And it's tough to do outdoor activities. I wish spring and fall lasted way longer.

 

4. I would like to know about your house. How many rooms are there? Also tell me about your favorite room.

 

-> I live in Seoul, Korea. I live in an apartment with my family. It is a very old one, and the apartment complex is huge. It's clean and quiet everywhere. My place is quite spacious for me. There are three rooms, a kitchen, and two bathrooms in my house. Umm.. my favorite one is the living room. I love to talk to my family there, drinking some coffee. What I like the most about this area is the very comfy sofa. We got it a few weeks ago. It was a little pricey, but It's worth it. I usually watch TV or read books sitting on the sofa in my free time. It's the best place for me to get some rest. How about you, Ava? Can you tell me about your place?

 

5. Tell me about some problems you have experienced in your house. For example it could be noise from your neighbor, something was broken, or someone you lived with didn't cooperate with you

 

-> I live in quite an old apartment now, and many residents are renovating their places which takes a pretty long time. A few weeks ago, a new family moved in next door, and they started to remodel their place. I saw the notice in the elevator. Even though I’d already known it, it was too noisy during the day. I’ve been working from home, so the crazy noise stressed me out. One day, I was on my way out and saw something hanging on the door handle. It was a chocolate, and there was a small card. It was from my neighbor next door. It made me feel better. Noise issues are always hard to handle. I think It’s necessary to try to understand and respect each other.

 

6. Tell me about one of the problem you've mentioned above. What was the problem? And how did you deal with it

 

-> There was a time when I accidentally dropped my phone.

I was at home walking towards the kitchen from the living room when it happenend.

It was a new Samsung phone, and it was very expensive.

The phone broke, and also the screen cracked. 

I felt really bad because it was the birthday gift I got from my mother.

I went to the Samsung Service Center the next day. Fortunately, they fixed my phone.

I was impressed by the service.

 

7. Tell me about typical restaurant in your country. What are they like and what kind of food do they serve?

 

->There are many kinds of restaurants in Korea, such as Korean, Japanese, and Chinese.

I especially like going to Korean restaurants.

This is because the food is very tasty to me.

There are various kinds of side dishes, which are amazing.

 

 

8. When was the last time you ate out? Where did you go? And who did you go there with? What did you eat at the restaurant?

 

-> 1)I really love eating chicken, so I ate chicken with my friends at a local restaurant.

2)The chicken was very tasty and had a richer flavor than usual. As a result, we pigged out and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

3)This restaurant was very clean, and the staff was very kind and attentive, making our dining experience even more pleasant.

 

9. Tell me about especial dish you had at a restaurant. How was the food? Was it memorable?

1)I really love eating steak, so I went to a fine dining restaurant for my wife's birthday.

2)I ordered a course meal that included many dishes, such as an appetizer, soup, salad, main dish, and tea.

3)All the food was delicious and special.

4)This restaurant was excellent. It had a nice atmosphere, and the background sound was pleasant.
